On December 20^th, 2024, Andion Italy spa, a fully owned subsidiary of Andion CH4, completed the 100% acquisition of the Mirandola project SPV, Biomethan Green 1 srl, and is ready for the plant construction. Site works will start by January 2025 and the start-up of gas production is planned by Q2 2026. The 45 GWh LGB Mirandola plant, applying the state-of-the-art Andion anaerobic digestion technology, will avoid the emission of 8,000 tons/year of CO2, and will guarantee the treatment of over 65,000 tons of pig and cow slurry and poultry litter per year, providing a solution to the abundance of animal waste being produced in the area.
