Andion CH4 Renewables is pleased to announce the start of construction of our new biogas plant in Mirandola, Italy. This plant will process 70,000 tonnes of biomass per year, producing 500 sm³/h of gaseous biomethane, which will be converted into approximately 3,000 tonnes of Bio LNG each year, avoiding the emission of 8,000 tonnes/year of CO2.

The plant will also be equipped with innovative NHfree technology to remove nitrogen from the digestate, achieving a 70% yield on ammoniacal nitrogen, ensuring efficiency and sustainability in the biogas production process.
‘We are excited to start this transformational project, which will contribute to Italy’s renewable energy goals and promote a more sustainable future,’ said Michele Lissoni, head of Andion CH4 Renewables, Italy.
The plant will create local jobs, reduce carbon emissions and help Italy achieve its clean energy goals. We look forward to sharing further updates as construction progresses.
