Milan 19 October 2026: MILAN, ITALY and STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN. ANDION ITALY and BIOMETHAN GREEN 1, a company belonging to the Andion Group, are proud to announce the commissioning of an anaerobic digestion plant for the production of biomethane and high-quality compost in the municipality of Mirandola (MO).

On 5th October 2026, the plant produced its first lot of Bio-LNG, which was successfully loaded onto a truck provided by SOL. SOL, our partner in this initiative, has signed a 10-year contract to collect the Bio-LNG for transport use. The Plant, as designed and planned, has a total production capacity of 1140 Nm3/h of biogas of which 815 Nm3/h feed the Upgrading and Liquefaction section to produce 500 Sm3/h of biomethane and 325 Nm3/h feed the cogenerator for the self-consumption needs.
