Milan, 2 September 2026 – Andion, a biomethane and renewable energy group, today announced the appointment of Erik Lewenhaupt as Head of Energy Sales & Offtake, Sustainability & ESG Compliance. Erik will be responsible for structuring and securing long-term offtake agreements across the company’s growing portfolio of biomethane plants in Europe, as well as leading Sustainability and ESG compliance at group level.

Erik brings more than 25 years of international experience across the maritime and energy sectors, spanning tanker chartering, business development, and executive management. He has held senior leadership roles including President & CEO of the Stockholm-listed tanker owner Concordia Maritime, Managing Director of Stena Glovis in Hamburg, and General Manager of Stena Bulk’s Singapore office, where he managed the company’s commercial tanker and LNG activities across Asia. He also built Stena Line’s sustainability function from the ground up, positioning the ferry operator as a leader in sustainable shipping.

In his new role, Erik will take direct responsibility for developing and securing the commercial offtake underpinning Andion’s expanding biomethane portfolio, while embedding sustainability and ESG governance across the group. His mandate spans the negotiation of long-term offtake structures across multiple European markets and ensuring Andion’s operations meet rigorous environmental and reporting standards as the asset base scales.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Lund and completed his military service as a Sergeant in the Swedish Navy’s Coast Artillery. He is based in southern Sweden, is married with four children, and enjoys skiing, music, and following current affairs.
