Milan, 23 September 2026: Andion CH4 Renewables (“Andion”) is proud to announce that its recent private debt transaction, in partnership with Goldman Sachs Alternatives, has been named “Private Debt Deal of the Year” by the Finance Community at an event hosted by Latham & Watkins in Milan, Italy.
This prestigious recognition follows the successful financial close on 23 February 2026 of a €67 million facility. The capital was secured to accelerate Andion’s development pipeline across Italy and the Nordic region. Provided by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, this capital represents an important milestone in Andion’s strategic mission to establish itself as one of Europe’s leading operators in the biomethane sector.
The facility has already been instrumental in driving operational growth, enabling the acquisition of several biomethane plants in Italy and finalizing the construction of two greenfield projects. Furthermore, the funding continues to boost project development capabilities throughout both the Italian and Swedish markets.
The transaction was structured by Carlingford, while Andion was advised by BNP Paribas as financial advisor and by the law firms GSK Stockman, De Berti Jacchia, and Cirio on the legal aspects of the transaction.
